From Mr. Thomas Templeton we learn that his father, James M. Templeton, who lived for so many years near Buffalo Crek on the Louisiana and Prairieville gravel road, and who was so well known to the older citizens of our county, died at his home in Dallas, Texas at 11 o’clock on Tuesday, September 25.  Mr. Templeton was 72 years of age and lived in Texas about 22 years.  He was a good citizen, an upright consientious man and his death will be regretted by hosts of friends in both Texas and Missouri.
