Louisiana Jan. 7, 1926-June 14, 2006 

LOUISIANA - Funeral services for Mrs. Eugenia Dale "Jeanne" Lovell, 80, of Louisiana, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 19, at the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana. The Rev. Jimmy Spear will officiate. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery near Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 18, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana.

Mrs. Lovell died on June 14, 2006.

She was born Jan. 7, 1926, in Louisiana, to Clemonn C. Ince and Nannie Vonvain Ince. She married Raymond "Ike" Henry Lovell April 14, 1956, at Louisiana, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1999.

She is survived by one son, John "Buzzy" Lovell and wife Mary Ann of Louisiana, three grandchildren, John Clinton Lovell of St. Louis, Tracy Lovell of Columbia, and Jeffery Lovell and wife Leslie of Louisiana, four great-grandchildren, Alex Lovell of St. Louis, Tara Lovell of Columbia, Jeffery Lovell Jr. of Louisiana, and Audrey Lovell of Louisiana; and a special cousin, Ed Jennings and wife Mary Jo of Bowling Green.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Johnna Lovell.

Mrs. Lovell had owned and operated the Shirley Shop Ladies Clothing Store in Louisiana, until her retirement. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana. She also was a member of the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce, the Christians Women's Club of Quincy, Ill., the County Thyme Herb Club, the Pike County Historical Society and the Pike County Democratic Club. She was known for hat shows that she presented to different organizations in the two-state area.

Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Louisiana, or to the Louisiana Historical Museum in care of Collier Funeral Homes, Inc., 117 Barnard Drive, Louisiana, Mo., 63353.
