Hold Last Rites
of Benjamin Kelly,
Clarksville, Sunday

Funeral services for Benjamin Caswell Kely [sic] 78, of Clarksville were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Clarksville Presbyterian church with Rev. Leslie Thurston officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

Mr. Kelly died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in Pike County Hospital. He was born Oct. 15, 1880, in Calumet township to D.H. and Nancy Estes Kelly.

He farmed in the Clarksville area most of his adult life. The Kellys moved into town about a year ago.

Mr. Kelly was an Odd Fellow and a member of the Clarksville Presbyterian church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Sadie Susan Kelly of the home, one son, Sgt. Eugene C. Kelly of Ft. Bliss, El Paso, Texas, two brothers, William C. Kelly and James Kelly, both of Route 2, Clarksville and a grandson of Tuscon [sic], Ariz.

During Sunday's service Miss Susan Scholl and Mrs. Frank Barnhart, accompanied by Mrs. Wck [sic] Taylor, sang "Beyond the Sunset" and Face to Face". 

Pallbearers were John Estes, Curtis Williams, Anton Dietrich, Charles McCue, Homer Sterne and Thurmond Cooper.

Carroll-Collier Funeral Service was in charge of funeral arrangements.
