MRS. BENNING DIES AT HOME 
November 7, 1945- Funeral rites to be Friday. 

Mrs. Jeanette Gibson Benning, wife of T. H. Benning, 501 North 7th Street, Hannibal, died at the family residence at 4:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon. She had been ill the pas 10 months 

Mrs. Benning, a graduate nurse, graduated with the first class at Levering Hospital. She had been a member of the auxiliary for many years. She was a member of the fifth Street Baptist Church and always took an active part in the church's activities, when her health permitted. 

Mrs. Benning, was born June 24, 1885 in Grand View, Tenn. Surviving are her husband, T. H. Benning, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert J. Thompson, of Hannibal, a sister, Mrs. E.R. Tegan, Newark, N. J. and five brothers, Chapman Gibson, Maryville, Tenn, J. H. Gibson, Dayton,. Ohio, W. R Gibson, Los Angeles, Cal., George W. Gibson, Albuquerque, N.M., and John J. Gibson of Florida. 

She also, leaves a stepdaughter, Mrs. W.J. Drwin of Chicago. 

The body was removed to the Smith Funeral Home, where it may be viewed by friends. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday afternoon at Smith Chapel, conducted by Rev. Fred Pulliam, pastor of the fifth Street Baptist Church. 

Internment will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
