1860 Missouri Census - Marshall Allen
1870 Census - William N. Allen
Note from contributor: Tom Richards:
William N. Allen. was a Corporal and in the Pike County Battalion. He served about two years and then went to Montana.
I attached a census that shows William N. Allen’s uncle (Marshall Allen) and his grandfather, John E. Allen. His father (William Nash Allen) died young.

The other census shows William N. Allen in Montana. I don’t know who the other Allen’s are in this census. I read somewhere that William R. Allen was a cousin.
